About Dr. McDonald

Dr. Edwin A. McDonald III received his Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry and Economics from Midwestern State University. He earned his DDS degree from the University of Texas Dental Branch at Houston. Dr. McDonald has completed extensive training in dental implant dentistry through the University of Florida Center For Implant Dentistry. He has also completed extensive aesthetic dentistry training through various programs including the Seattle Institute.

Dr. McDonald’s professional affiliations include:

• Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry
• Visiting faculty at The Pankey Institute for Advanced Dental Education
• Board Member of The Pankey Institute
• Past President of The Texas Academy of Dental Practice Administration

In addition, Dr. McDonald has lectured before organizations such as The Yankee Dental Congress, The Chicago Mid-Winter Dental Meeting, The Texas Dental Association, and The Southwest Dental Conference. He has also authored a series of articles for Dental Economics and other dental journals.

Dr. McDonald is a Past Board Chairman of the Plano Family YMCA and has been a volunteer with Serving Him International Healthcare Ministries including missionary trips to Braila, Romania.

About Dr. Gibbs

Dr. Gibbs constantly strives towards giving his patients optimal dental health. He loves nothing more than bettering someone’s present condition, whether it’s simply fixing a tooth or giving them a gorgeous smile.

Dr. Gibbs loves spending time with his family and friends. He has become somewhat of a “workout nut”, dedicating a good bit of his time to improving his physical health. He is an avid golfer, and loves anything outdoors. His favorite hobby is playing the guitar. He has been known to play in a rock band or two!!
